Special Election Interviews

by CommonSense2 Editor

Tom Gajewski and Kevin Barnhardt

The November 6th election is approaching rapidly. Because time is of the essence we are releasing two interviews originally scheduled for the November edition early. We feel this November’s County Commissioner’s race to be of particular importance. After sending extreme right-wing ideologue Rick Santorum packing out the front door in 2006, now is not the time to let down our guard and let the equally extreme Santorum protegee Christian Leinbach in the back door. This hack has been demagoguing the tax issue from the moment he entered the race. A graduate of the notorious Bob Jones University, Mr. Leinbach has never repudiated the anti-catholicism and anti-semitism of that school.

The race is set up for 3 out of the 4 candidates to be elected. It’s like a game of musical chairs and when the music stops the man without a chair is sent packing. We progressives need to see to it that Tom and Kevin have two of those three chairs.

The Interviews:

Kevin Barnhardt: Seasoned, Ready
In the County Commissioner race there are four of you running for three seats. It s like playing musical chairs. When the music stops you d better have a seat. The odd man s out.

Berks County Commissioner Tom Gajewski
When you have a good commissioner, you keep him. Get to know about Tom Gajewski s strong, steady leadership.

……………………………………..

Everybody needs to get to the polls November 6th. If we sit this out we have no one to blame but ourselves. We founded CS2 to stand up to the right. Here’s a good place to start. Let’s send a clear message that we progressives know what the right-wing has done to this country and we are not going to take it any more.
