Wearing my bow tie
I take time off from my job
to attend the ceremony.
Yet nothing is ever left
but a false impression
because of my habit of going
where nothing concerns me,
though sometimes I like
to be there before it starts,
which is always on Tuesday
after the music begins
and the speeches
are waiting to enter.
