In the September issue of CommonSense2, in our To Your Health column titled “Anatomy of a Sick Health Care System”, we chronicled the experiences of Dylan Brown and his family in navigating their way through our very sick health care system.

Dylan, 15, of Exeter Township, Berks County, PA, is battling neurosarcoma, a cancer of the spine. Dylan’s fight against this disease continues as various therapies are employed to bring his cancer under control.

Though the Browns have health insurance, they are incurring further financial hardships related directly (co-pays, etc.) and indirectly to Dylan’s medical treatment.
