Editorials Opinions, rants, confessions and predictions appear in this monthly commentary. All Politics Is Local? — Bull!"All politics is local" is famously attributed to that Speaker of the House from Massachusetts in the 1980s, Tip O'Neill. I can't think of a political quote that has stuck with more devastating results for the Democratic Party.
To Your Health Ron Stouffer and Rosie Skomitz have been waging battles in the health care wars for 15 years. Check back every month for views, opinions and information vital to you and To Your Health And the Oscar Goes to... 7 CommentsIt is not too early to recognize the contributions of some of the actors involved in the drama surrounding the national effort for health care reform - performances worthy of appearing in a theater near you.
The Keystone Scorecard Sylvia Baylor chronicles the absurdities of Harrisburg and our State Legislature. Occasionally The Keystone Scorecard will feature guest authors. DIRT IN ITS POLITICAL AND OTHER FORMS 2 CommentsThe GOP crimes involved "two distinct criminal conspiracies," Corbett said. The first of those alleged conspiracies is that under the direction of Perzel, the House Republican caucus repeatedly contracted with the same two companies, using millions of taxpayer dollars, to build the complex software they allegedly used to try to influence elections. Corbett also alleges that evidence was removed and forged by some of those indicted in an effort to obstruct the investigation.
