I teach political science at Oswego State University, Oswego, New York. Other semesters I have taught U.S. history, politics of education, history of Vietnam, Western Civilization and the history of Ireland. I am presently doing research on labor history particularly as it pertains to the coal mines of Pennsylvania. While living in Maryland I was once very active in local Democratic politics, but I now live in a heavily Republican region.
